    The Glendronach 30 Year Old

The Glendronach 30 Year Old is a composition of three sherry cask styles: Pedro Ximénez, oloroso, and, for the first time in the distillery’s history, amontillado. Over three decades of maturation have drawn out exceptional layers of richness and complexity, while the amontillado cask contributes a sophisticated touch of toasted hazelnut and mellow crème caramel. Master blender Rachel Barrie has woven the casks together into a whisky of striking balance and elegance, presented in a walnut-veneer case engraved with 30 facets to mark the years.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Richly aromatic with morello cherry, raisin, and spiced Brazil nut toffee, joined by marzipan and medjool date caramel.

    Palate

Seductively smooth and layered, with glazed cherry and sultana cake, cinnamon raisin-nut toffee, and chocolate hazelnut café crème.

    Finish

Long and evolving, with waves of fruitcake sweetness, nutty depth, and lingering sherry warmth.
