The 16th batch of single cask bottlings from GlenDronach featured a trio of 27 year old, 1990 vintage expressions - including this tasty treat! It was distilled in April 1990 and left to mature in a Pedro Ximénez sherry puncheon until 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of 632 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
An old chestnut cabinet opens to the scent of sandalwood and beeswax. On following the scent deeper, discover date oil and spiced bramble pie on an earthy forest floor.
Palate
Orange-laced mocha, spiced mincepies and dark bramble jam carried on a bed of leather-velvet, leaving date oil and prunes into the rich and unctuous long-lasting finish.
