The Revival has been revived! The GlenDronach's 15 Year Old Revival was a much-loved expression, though was sadly discontinued in 2015 by the distillery, citing lack of maturing stocks. However, stocks have been replenished and The GlenDronach 15 Year Old Revival has returned to our shelves! Matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, this stuff is hugely flavoursome, aromatic and complex.
Please note: We're afraid we can't guarantee which vintage you will receive. It'll still be yummy GlenDronach no matter the vintage, mind!
Coffee beans, sponge cake drenched in sherry, mint leaf, slightly buttery, sultana.
Oily walnut, new leather, blackberry and apple crumble, toasted brown sugar and a touch of liquorice root.
Fresh ginger, waxy orange, caramelised dried fruit and a hint of cigar box.

This is a rich beautiful dram, people should not compare it to the previous Revival as this is a completely new recipe, as we were told on our recent visit to the distillery, it is packed with flavour, with a silky caramelised finish, top notch whisky, damn good!!!!
Waited for this for a long time. And it’s delicious
Different from the older version but still very good
Too many people are trying put this on the same pedestal as the old 2015 version before even trying it. As with all Glendronach this is a very pleasant dram in its own unique way. Those that care that it’s not as old as the previous bottling are just or as rich and full are just talking Huff!! Those people are just moaning that they are not getting age for the money anymore. Not true whisky connoisseurs if you ask me. Appreciate it for what it is and stop all the whining. Great whisky!!
What has happened to the revival? I have been counting the days until I got to drink one of the great whiskys again. Even with the £20 price increase I thought it would still be worth it. What a disappointment. It's not in the same league as the revival of a few years ago...
