The Revival has been revived! The GlenDronach's 15 Year Old Revival was a much-loved expression, though was sadly discontinued in 2015 by the distillery, citing lack of maturing stocks. However, stocks have been replenished and The GlenDronach 15 Year Old Revival has returned to our shelves! Matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, this stuff is hugely flavoursome, aromatic and complex.
Please note: We're afraid we can't guarantee which vintage you will receive. It'll still be yummy GlenDronach no matter the vintage, mind!
Coffee beans, sponge cake drenched in sherry, mint leaf, slightly buttery, sultana.
Oily walnut, new leather, blackberry and apple crumble, toasted brown sugar and a touch of liquorice root.
Fresh ginger, waxy orange, caramelised dried fruit and a hint of cigar box.

I would say it is still a top quality sherried dram, the old revival was slightly better but wasn't that older than its 15 years age statement. This is new revival is simply a top quality 15 year old sherried dram and I am just waiting for it to come back into stock again.
I hear what other people say by saying pay that bit extra for the 18.... HOWEVER they are completely different whiskys. If you have the 18 then defo buy this to see what Glendronach also offer with a mix of Olorosso and PX sherry casks. For £62 it's money well spent
NO product is ever going to be the same as its predecessor or successor over a period of time. It stands to reason that there will be variances - some time for better - some time for worse. In this case, I cannot personally make an assertion as to the providence of the previous offering of this article. What I can say is that, this particular incarnate is, I daresay, blooming moreish!
yes, its very different from the old version. You can really tell the dufference when you compare them side by side
Time changes, I never got to taste the old bottling but this is a damn good 15. Torn between this and the Glenfarclas 15, definitely depends on mood between the two but if I'm being honest the Glenfarclas 15 is a tad bit ahead.
