Distilled in 1993, three years before GlenDronach was mothballed, this Highland single malt spent 29 years maturing in a single Pedro Ximénez sherry butt. Bottled at cask strength of 54.2% ABV, it delivers the distillery’s signature richly sherried style, with deep layers of dried fruit, coffee, and chocolate mint. Produced long before GlenDronach’s revival under the Benriach Distillery Company and Billy Walker in 2008.
Dense layers of fig jam, Medjool dates, and sultanas, with rich espresso, dark chocolate mint, and a hint of polished oak.
Viscous and full-bodied, bringing treacle toffee, black cherries, roasted coffee beans, and spiced fruitcake, balanced by cooling mint chocolate and nutmeg warmth.
Long and decadent, with lingering sherried fruit, mocha, and a subtle herbal freshness from the mint.
