A 12 year old GlenDronach, distilled in January 2004 and matured in a Pedro Ximénez Sherry puncheon until September 2016, when it was released as part of the fourteenth batch of single cask bottlings. These fly off the shelves, because they're properly excellent. This is a release of 664 bottles.
Big bundles of Christmas-y spices, followed by a wave of white-chocolate coated raisins.
Ginger and toffee, with a hint of intense dried fruit sweetness.
White pepper and cinnamon last.
