Glencadam Andalucía Bottling Note

Glencadam decided to pay homage the wonderful Jerez region of Spain with Reserva Andalucía, an appropriately sherried single malt! Both sherry and bourbon-matured malts were married together before the blend was then finished in Oloroso sherry butts from Andalucía itself. A true celebration of the ever-wonderful sherry cask, full of that hallmark spice, dried fruit and honey!

Glencadam Reserva Andalucía Reviews

Get the 10 year old.

Absolutely love anything with sherry and I pretty much drink only sherried whiskies. I have had Glencadam's 10 year old on one of those occasions I fancied being brave enough to try something different and it was superb. This sherry finish is reasonably well balanced and doesn't allow the sherry to overpower the spirit. But, overall, the 10 year old was better for me. And cheaper. A win win!
