A very old, handsome and tasty release of Glencadam single malt Scotch whisky. Distilled in April 1978, it aged in a sherry cask (cask 2332) for 32 years until it was bottled in September 2010. Absolutely amazing, this one. Only 405 bottles were produced, so it's pretty limited too.
Nose: Vanilla ice cream and honey notes on the sweeter side of things, while a mix of smoke and spice balancing it very well.
Palate: Raisins, orange peel, treacle and sherry make themselves heard.
Finish: Spice returns, intense and rich.
Overall: Someone go back in time and make Glencadam distill more of this please.
