Yesteryear malt today!
Old School Malt! Glencadam 21 is something to try if you want to see what single malt is like after 21 plus years without big sherry or peat to obscure it. Glad Whisky Whistle got to try it!

Favorite
First review mainly because I felt this was truly necessary. Favorite yet, it took the top spot from the Deveron 18 and Glenmorangie 18, Glenfarclas 25 is number 4 on my list. Whenever I open the bottle I am instantly reminded how beautiful it is. An oxymoron smell that hits you strongly with light fruit. Palate is beautifully complex, smooth, with vanilla and fruit at the fore. Perfect spring/summer dram.

Malty, fruitiness
Stunning dram! Best served with a pipette of water and leave it to open up for 5 minutes or so. Delicious! I had never heard of Glencadam until recently and they are quickly becoming one of my favourites! The 10 and 15 year olds are also rather fine!

What a Corker
A really nice smooth drink. Yes, there's fruit in there somewhere. No dissappointment here.

Good stuff
Excellent! Very smooth indeed and easy to drink. Highly recommended.
Maybe lacks a distinctive character though? If you like a whisky with personality, this might not be the one.

Advent Calendar
This was the 4th in my advent calendar and the most interesting so far. I've enjoyed drinking whiskey for a few years now, but hadn't gotten very far in developing my palate. I enjoyed every aspect here. Tart and fruity nose. Spicy and complex taste. I smiled when I could distinctly taste the toasted barley and pineapple. Great scotch!

Nice, it hits home. Nose: Deep, with layers that tells of malt, oak, fresh- and dried fruits. Lovely balance.
Taste: Spice! A lot of flavours, lovely oak, sweet malt, vanilla, fresh fruits, dried fruits… the list goes on. Long finish.
