Glenburgie 8 Year Old 2011 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
This 2011 vintage single malt distilled at Glenburgie spent its days maturing in a pair of bourbon barrels. After eight years had passed, Càrn Mòr cracked the casks open and independently bottled the Speysider, with an outturn of 523 bottles at 47.5% ABV for the Strictly Limited series.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Lemon peel and apple cake, with some green apple skin in there too.
Palate
Nectarine sweetness alongside more of that tangy green apple, with a scattering of vanilla pod.
Finish
Malty cereal notes with a crack of black pepper.
