An indie Glenburgie aged in a hoggie! If we weren't being quite so colloquial, we'd have said "This is an independent bottling of Glenburgie single malt, aged in one hogshead cask", but that wouldn't have been quite as fun to say. Anyway, yummy single cask Glenburgie here, bottled by Malts of Scotland with an outturn of 265 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Golden Syrup Cake and Bakewell Tarts, followed by a spicy kick of cumin powder.
Palate
Cardamom, dried peels and juicy peach. A touch of vanilla develops.
Finish
Oily barley and ground pepper.
