Independent bottler James Eadie presents this Glenburgie single malt as part of its Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland series. Distilled in 2009, the whisky was treated to a 16-year stay in a pair of first-fill bourbon hogsheads, yielding a total of 417 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Producer
Nose
Fresh, juicy apricot and pears, balanced nicely with richer notes of toffee apple and maple syrup.
Palate
Floral, creamy flavours of vanilla and butterscotch combine with tropical notes of mango, papaya and passionfruit.
Finish
Clean and sweet, ending on tropical fruits with a slightly malty finish.
