A spicy, rich Glenburgie, distilled in May of 1985 and aged for 26 years in cask 6995 before bottling in March of 2012 at natural cask strength. A release of 265 numbered bottles.
Oily, nutty and rich. Walnut, maple syrup, toffee and limoncello. Peach juice, cinnamon.
Woody and spiced, hints of pineapple, guava and watermelon, a little malt, melted butter on granary toast and honey.
Hints of something vaguely medicinal now, fresh fruit, caramelised onion and dates.
