Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 1963

Distilled in 1963 at the Glenburgie distillery and aged for 44 years before bottling in 2007 for Gordon and MacPhail.
The nose is of medium-body and very smooth. There are notes of dried ropes with a touch of tar, apple blossom and dried herbs with sultanas and sherried peels. The palate is of good body with a silken delivery. The mouthfeel is quite chewy with notes of sherried peels and mixed fruits, marmalade and rum with light oak and chewy, subdued smoke. The finish is of good length with a touch of caramelised dark brown sugar.
