
From the Meikle Tòir series made at GlenAllachie Distillery, The Turbo is named after the spirit cut which contains the highest phenol content, so expect a powerful peaty customer here. St. Fergus mainland peat was used to dry the barley at 71ppm before the whisky was matured in a combo of three medium-toasted and medium-charred American virgin oak casks and five first-fill oloroso hogsheads. It was bottled at 50% ABV with no chill-filtration or colouring.
Dark chocolate, campfire smoke, ginger, creamy hazelnut, dried fruit, and leather.
Cinnamon, mocha, rich honey, smoked spices, flamed orange peel, dates, and chocolate-covered raisins.
Oak char, sherried spice, and rich smoke.
