Cracking stuff from the GlenAllachie distillery, this single malt was distilled in 2009 and spent nine years maturing in ex-oloroso sherry hogsheads. Those casks came into the care of indie bottler Càrn Mòr, which opened them up in 2022 and bottled the Speysider for its Strictly Limited series.
Juicy red berries and orchard fruits, dried cinnamon, with roasted malt in the distance.
More fresh apples, juicy sultanas, and red grapes lead, before dried orange peels, anise, and clove poke through.
Stewed stone fruits, vanilla custard, oaken spice, and more tangy orange zest.
