A single cask bottling from GlenAllachie, part of the first bundle of single casks released by the distillery in Speyside at the end of 2018. This one was aged in a bourbon barrel for 28 years, from February 1990 to October 2018. Only 122 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Beeswax, dark chocolate, apricot and old leather.
Palate
Golden syrup, Victoria sponge cake, croissant dipped in coffee, a hint of herbaceous thyme.
Finish
White pepper and cinnamon develop later on.
