Richly sherried single malt from GlenAllachie, released in celebration of the distillery's 50th anniversary. It was aged in a sherry butt for 28 years - from May 1989 to February 2918 - then bottled at cask strength, with only 152 bottles produced. This series was the first set of whiskies released since the Billy Walker-led purchase of GlenAllachie in 2017.
A galaxy of sultanas, pineapple and plum pudding, with hints of spices and orange peel.

I liked this the best from the 50th Anniversary, if you are lucky you might still find a bottle at a stockist... was tricky to find one at first release.
