Part of GlenAllachie's Virgin Oak Series, this 15 year old single malt Scotch whisky has been given a finishing period in casks made from Scottish Sessile oak – not a common type of cask by any means due to it being rather difficult to work with for whisky maturation. Despite this, the GlenAllachie team persevered and created a fascinating expression here.
