A cask strength, single cask GlenAllachie, distilled in June 2006. The single malt spent the next 13 years in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead. Unlucky for some, but not this delicious Speysider! Eventually it was bottled in August 2019 at 60.1% ABV, with 323 bottles released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Golden syrup, dark chocolate praline and roasted coffee bean, with chai latte. mocha, honey and sweet spices.
Palate
Dark chocolate mocha, orange oil, caramelised brown sugar and nutmeg.
Finish
Mint chocolate and lots of dark honey.
