12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from GlenAllachie, originally launched in mid-2018 following Billy Walker taking the reins of the distillery in 2017, and given a shiny redesign in 2024. This is the flagship expression from the Speyside-based distillery and features whisky matured in Pedro Ximénez, oloroso and virgin oak casks, resulting in a huge flavour profile of fruit, oak and vanilla.
Fried banana, almond, cola cubes, freshly cut oak.
Stem ginger and sultana, oily barley and buttery vanilla.
Very slightly chocolatey on the finish.
Full of beautiful sherried sweetness. Incredible dram.

Decent mix of flavours, it has a touch of peatyness and dark chocolate. Pleasant, but does have a slight harshness.
