GlenAllachie has bottled up a well-sherried single malt for Drinks by the Dram! This excellent Speysider was distilled back in March 2009 and matured for 12 years, eventually being drawn from a single Oloroso sherry puncheon in August 2021 and bottled up at cask strength. A release of 359 bottles – snap one up if you love the sherried richness that GlenAllachie has been showing off!
Chocolate ice-cream, French toast, nougat, and stroopwafel.
Malty vanilla, raisin, a prickle of nutmeg and ginger, some dark chocolate bittersweet hints.
A long finish, with more nutmeg, chocolate, and a touch of molasses.
