GlenAllachie 12 Year Old 2007 (cask 3767) - Single Cask

This fruity GlenAllachie was lucky enough to spend its years in a Madeira hogshead! Release as part of the distillery's single cask series, it was distilled in May 2007 and left in the hogshead for 12 years. The single malt was then bottled in August 2019, with the hogshead yielding 291 bottles at cask strength, a burly 60.8% ABV.

Nose

Lots of tropical fruit, with passion fruit and pineapple upside down cake, and peppermint sweeties.

Palate

More tropical fruit, with dried apricot, syrupy pineapple and candied orange, with aromatic baking spice.

Finish

Mint chocolate and desiccated coconut.
