Wine cask-matured GlenAllachie here, released as part of the distillery's UK-exclusive Single Cask series. The single malt was distilled in 2009, and rested in a barrique which previously held Grattamacco wine for 11 years. It was bottled in 2021 at 58.3% ABV, with an outturn of 302 bottles.
Bakewell tart, orange chocolate, and chai spices, with whiffs of honeyed florals.
Crystallised ginger, dried apricot, and summer berries, along with dry wood spices.
Chocolate-coated cherry, and toffee.
