11 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, released as part of the distillery first batch of single cask bottlings! This one aged in a Port pipe (a very large type of cask) from February 2007 to October 2018 before being bottled at 60% ABV with an outturn of 804 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Chocolate and strawberry - a great combination. A hint of grassy malt develops alongside the sweetness.
Palate
Still packed with red fruit, though hints of ginger and orange peel take shape on the palate.
Finish
Honey, floral barley and liquorice.
