GlenAllachie 10 Year Old 2008 (cask 24829) - Single Cask
One of eight single cask bottling from GlenAllachie, released in a batch at the end of 2018. This one was allowed to age in a bourbon barrel for 10 years, from March 2008 to October 2018, before being bottled at cask strength with a small outturn of just 210 bottles. Always exciting to see single cask bottling - they're a good chance to taste something that can never be reproduced!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Floral malt, black coffee, cola cubes and red apples.
Palate
Chewy dried fruit, stem ginger, white pepper, lemon peel and maple syrup.
Finish
Fizzy oak spices, new leather, slightly herbaceous.
