A stylish Glen Spey here, independently bottled by Sansibar in collaboration with Spirits Shop' Selection. This was aged in a bourbon cask for 27 years - from 1988 to 2015 - before being bottled at cask strength with a small outturn of just 198 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Lemongrass and sawdust, tempered with layers of kumquat jam and butterscotch.

Palate

A kick of sharp green apple sweetness, well balanced by more mellow butterscotch. A touch of oak-y tannins.

Finish

Light salinity reveals itself on the finish.
