25 year old Glen Spey single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by A.D. Rattray for their Cask Collection. It was distilled in December 1991 and left to age in a bourbon hogshead until October 2017, when it was bottled with a small outturn of 274 bottles.
Rye bread with homemade marmalade, cut grass, menthol.
Tobacco and thyme savoury notes on the opening, with layers of caramel and digestive biscuit sweetness.
Subtle red chilli and cinnamon.
