    Single Malt

    Glen Scotia Victoriana Cask Strength

Glen Scotia's Victoriana sees the Campbeltown distillery's single malt drawn from casks with a particularly heavy char profile, imparting plenty of rich, roasty-toasty notes. This, however, is the Victoriana Cask Strength expression. It's obvious what the difference here is - it's bottled at cask strength, a robust 54.2% ABV, which helps bolster those aforementioned roasty-toasty notes.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Elegantly oak-y, with notes of toasty sugar and citrus peels.

    Palate

More fruit forward on the nose, with dark berry juiciness at its core.

    Finish

Orchard fruits dusted with dark chocolate.

    100% recommend

Best mouthfeel I have had in any whisky. It's so thick and lovely. Doesn't drink like its cask strength. The fruitiness and mouthfeel of the whisky make this a must have in your whisky collection.

    Seriously good whiskey

Having tried this recently at a friends house I wasn’t disappointed by the delightful warmth as it trickled down. A lovely feeling! It’s a whiskey my dad would have adored, sadly he isn’t here so I will be buying a bottle or 2 to drink it in his memory. It is deliciously full-bodied and rich and at 54%, it isn’t for the faint of heart!

    Savoury, powerful , tasty

It’s wonderful stuff, tasty , probably the best NAS I had last 2 years. If you can not gets your hands on springbank 12 YO, this is the best alternative still available

    Amazingly versatile

Really nails that over priced methylated flavour of furniture polish. Suitable as a lawnmower fuel if you’re desperate.
