This is a bottle of Glen Ranoch single malt Scotch whisky. Ought to serve well as an introduction to Highlands whisky.
Auuuccchhh!!! a fine little single malt... some 3 years and more..wow..full of flavor..... the peat.. just enough to take you to Scotland for a moment..paired with your fav cigar or better with your pipe and some Turkish smoking and smoulderin'...enjoyed this one a number of times over the years....amazing light on the fire...nice light finish for me . . . .congrats for the distillers...of WHICH is absolutely unimportant to the end result . . . .an enjoyable affordable single Malt . . .I lift me wee dram to you :Lads
Even not as a cheapie... A little bit schnappsy and fruity like some German Obstler or similar. Some malts at Lidl or Aldi are more complex and rewarding and even cheaper...
Really nice, very cheap whisky. Starts with an apple smell, walnut taste and ends with a sweet taste, very smooth, but don’t tell anyone. At this price it’s just great
Glen Ranoch is the best. It is hidden behind a cheap price, making it unknown in the whiskey world.
This is an inexpensive scotch...I buy it on sale for as little as $17. It has a "good" aroma and a pleasant taste. It's not particularly smokey or peaty as more expensive scotch, but for the price it's really not that bad.
