Glen Parker
Single Malt
An easy-going single malt from an unnamed distillery in Speyside, Glen Parker is ever so slightly peaty.
I'm definitely not a connoisseur or whisky snob. I prefer Glen Livet, but for the price, this is very drinkable. I mix it with ice and a little water. Only one store in the area carries this, and it is sometimes sold out.
I am a dedicated whisky drinker and have enjoyed various malt but this is my favourite
Actually not bad at all ... not very peaty ... pleasant drinking
Fine whisky Hurry up and ship to Dallas Texas We are waiting
A marmite Whisky if ever there was. Yes it’s smooth but the nose and taste when neat are a bit ‘challenging’, no alcohol burn on the tongue or throat but mostly off flavours of candy and caramel. Improves slightly with water or ice, reminds of middling bourbon. Will use for cocktails or cooking, which defeats the point of malt whisky, it should’be gone into a blend like Whyte and Mackay. Difficult to rate 0.5/5 for a straight malt, 3.5/5 for a whisky to be mixed.
