Glen Parker
Single Malt
An easy-going single malt from an unnamed distillery in Speyside, Glen Parker is ever so slightly peaty.
I buy Glen Parker when it comes up on special here in Australia. It's reasonably unsophisticated but it's smooth, has a hint of peat flavour, slightly sweet and is easy to drink. Not top shelf, but much nicer than cheap to mid price blends.
waste of money, tasted like cheap bells definitely not a single malt.i should know i have tasted loads over the years.don't buy it.
bought this bottle by chance. cost $26 in the suburbs of NY. on ice, it was fantastic. smooth and with a sweet aftertaste. light peatiness as well. this is absolutely the cheapest scotch I've purchased and by far from the worst!
Had it last night at a friends house. I thought it was quite smooth and drinkable. Not very peaty and some fruit in there. Neat no water worth a go.
This is a terrible whisky: you would be better of with a cheap blend that would come in at least £10 cheaper. Nothing to recommend it. None of the Speyside qualities you might expect.
