Bourbon
This is an A. D. Rattray bottling of Glen Ord single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a bourbon hogshead for 11 years. It was distilled in September 2004 and bottled in July 2016 with a small outturn of 314 bottles.
Fresh orchard fruit and cut grass. Hints of beeswax and liquorice root.
Barley sugar sweets, creamy vanilla and salted butter on toasted muffins.
A light waft of charcoal appears on the finish.
