The central, and entry level release in the Elgin Classic range from Glen Moray distillery. Very easy to drink, this stuff offers up hints of soft citrus and barley.
Light, fresh. Grist. Nutty, floral. Dried grass. Slightly fruity.
Oak, gentle. Well balanced, walnut, grist. Citrus, lemon sponge.
Tangy citrus, spicy fruitcake.

Citrus items stands out in the palate. Less dry than the Teeling Small Batch that it closely resembles. Light, easy drinking. Refreshing but underwhelming finish.
This is awesome for the price very light and tangy lots of honey and citrus with a nice green apple finish very equivalent to Glenlivet 12 imo definitely want to try the 12 and 16 from this distillery simple but good very old fashioned. The sugarbear
I dismissed this scotch at first but on perservering it does offer more. I tried it in a Glencairn glass and it was a little harsh all round but in a tumbler it gives more of the subtle undertones that come through the young elements. Quite pleasent.
Sorry to say that but it is like a rocket fuel. Now matter how much you try to taste it its leave very sharp taste of pure alcohol on your tongue. Your throat felt like it's on fire.Overall good to get a drunk for the price.
On the nose it is promising but that's as good as it gets unfortunately, definitely young and quite harsh. I'd get a decent popular blend like Grants for when you don't want to spend too much on a single malt. It's drinkable but I won't buy again.
