Single Malt
Glen Moray
Scotland
The central, and entry level release in the Elgin Classic range from Glen Moray distillery. Very easy to drink, this stuff offers up hints of soft citrus and barley.
Light, fresh. Grist. Nutty, floral. Dried grass. Slightly fruity.
Oak, gentle. Well balanced, walnut, grist. Citrus, lemon sponge.
Tangy citrus, spicy fruitcake.

Do not screw around with what works. Glenmoray drinker for years this is rubbish. Wasted my money never again
Have to agree with some of the reviews ..found this very harsh burning whisky for a single malt ..but ended up being a very pleasant tipple but only after the level of the bottle dropped to around half ...full ..so this one improved once the bottle had been exposed to the air ...
BE CAREFUL , BE VERY CAREFUL. There are two of these One peated the other not. The bottles and the boxes are almost identical but they differ in that the peated one has a pale blue bottom third. Not noticable if your not concentrating of if someone else is picking one up for you with only the name on a shopping list to go by. The tastes are completely different. I prefer a non peated malt but have tried the other by mistake. Picked up the malted. Didn't happen again. Be careful in shops where they put them on the shelves not in the box. The labels are almost the same. Enjoy (either one)
I recently received a bottle as a gift and i have thoroughly enjoyed every drop i think that at this price its remarkably good value and a definite contender for an everyday dram
Opens with a fresh, grassy note. Mild palate, with light oak overtones. Smooth finish with slightly nutty palate. Very small yet detectable traces of peat. A drop of water does wonders for bringing this malt's subtleties to the fore. An approachable single malt for beginners, and a satisfactory "everyday" malt for the more experienced scotch drinker. Great value for money.
