Glen Moray
Scotland
Single Malt
A peaty expression joins Glen Moray's Classic range! Reasonably laid-back for a peated expression, but by no means lazy, this Speyside single malt Scotch whisky balances peaty whiffs with plenty of vanilla, and some fragrant elements as some of the distillery's usual character makes its way through. One for those newer to peaty whisky, as well as peat fans, and great value.
Familiar peat smoke off the bat, with characteristic butteriness developing.
Smoke never gets too intense, but plays a central role alongside vanilla and orchard fruit.
A little bit peppery, though still enjoyably sweet.

I first tasted Glen Moray in the 1980's whilst serving in the RAF in Moray (Along with many other Spey whiskies, what a posting!!). Have been drinking it ever since in it's various forms. Have also been to the distillery numerous times too!! This is an unpretentious, flavoursome offering, reasonably priced and a great introduction to peated malts. Enjoy, I know I will
Have been a fan of Glen Moray and have a few different from the distillery and liked them enormously for a long time and this peated version is all you would want in a whisky I have a few Islay whiskies and whilst not as powerful as say Lagavulin if you just want a very unpretentious tasty glass or wanting to taste what a decent wee drop of peated is like I can and would recommend this to anyone
A very nice dram, similar to an Islay Malt but not quite as peaty. You won't be disappointed
Excellent Highland peated Whisky. An absolute bargain, although it's not as complex as the Ardmore Legacy, it hits the spot with nothing more than an ice cube. Nice to see another peated whisky from the Highlands. After all, all whisky used to be peated, back in the day.
For that price it's worth every penny . Great Dram .Buy 2 .
