A cocoa-rich, spicy single cask Glen Moray from Duncan Taylor's superb Octave cask range. This was distilled in 1994 and aged for 17 years before bottling at cask-strength.
Nose: Buttery toffee and beeswax. Cocoa, black pepper, apple peels, honeysuckle, Baked Alaska.
Palate: Honey and malt. Rhubarb crumble with hot custard, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Spiced and intense.
