    Single Malt

Glen Moray 15 Year Old - Elgin Heritage

15 year old single malt from the Glen Moray distillery, released as part of the Elgin Heritage range - which is all about showing off the accessible deliciousness of its Speyside whisky. This was drawn from a selection of American oak and Sherry casks.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Sweet as it opens with white chocolate and caramel. A hint of charred oak smokiness develops.

    Palate

Crumbly fudge with a few sea salt flakes, shortly joined by banana fritters and chocolate raisins.

    Finish

    Cinnamon and ground ginger.

    Best 15yr old Speysider

I absolutely love this whisky, I have to say that I have drunk this ever since it first came out and each time I find more flavours. This is a distillery that I have the utmost respect and fondness for, never had a bad dram from Glen Moray and I have had lots of different versions. In my opinion this is the best 15yr old Speysider.

    Great value.

Smooth, sweet and spicy, excellent choice for the price.

    Incredible for the price!

Bought in Ontario, Canada. Could not believe the price for a 15 year old. Caramel or burnt sugar on the nose and extra spice in the back of the throat.

amazing whiskey and amazing delivery service

Amazing whiskey and amazing service was very concerned this being my first expensive whiskey brought on the internet that it would get damaged in shipping but no it was packed to a very high standard. Will shop here again

    Wholehearted recommendation

What a piece of joy! Big, rich, punchy and so much going on! If you buy one Glen Moray, this year, make it this one. The 12yo expression, in this range, is decent value for money, but I'd probably take the anCnoc 12yo, which is cheaper, in a similar style, and every bit as good. The 18yo was slightly disappointing, after this, and didn't really advance the expression - you can see my debate with another user, on that subject, in the tasing notes of the 18yo, as if that's interesting. This is the one to take, in this range. Def would buy. Have bought, in fact... on multiple occasions, which is proof. Ian
