The flagship Glen Moray from the distillery's age statement Elgin Heritage range. Unlike many of their releases, there is no finish or unusual casks used here, instead this 12 year old is aged exclusively in American oak casks. A pleasing and affordable Speyside single malt.
Crisp green apple skin, rhubarb boiled sweets, buttery shortbread, with subtly herbaceous oak developing.
Chewy barley with a drizzle of syrup, a touch of apricot and crushed honey-roasted nuts.
White chocolate and oak.

lovely nose lots of fruit and vanilla. the taste is of sweet fruit toffie then a burst of spice and nuttieness then light chocolate white/milk.
I really enjoy this one. Great taste.
The cheapest single malt I've ever seen. It's OK if you don't have much budget on a drink. But I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner and given him a wrong impression about what a single malt should taste like.
Love the taste. Drinking it neat.
It's smooth enough to drink straight has a good flavor.
