Distilled on 25 October 1989, this Glen Grant saw nothing but the inside of a single cask for 27 long years, before it was finally and mercifully bottled at a cask strength 51.7% ABV in September 2017 for Mackillop's Choice, with an outturn of 223 bottles. They did the right thing, I'm sure you'll agree...
Through a little furniture polish and fruitcake richness comes peanut brittle, raspberry conserve and barley malt.
Rich barley malt and nutty chocolate fade into biscuit dough, cider apples and gentle oak. Cinnamon and nutmeg come through after a while.
Out of freshly cut grass and fizzy oak spices there's vanilla cream, more fruitcake and orange peel.
