Glorious Glen Grant single malt, independently bottled by the Thompson Bros.! Distilled in 1998, this expression spent two dozen years resting in a single ex-bourbon cask, finally producing a total outturn of 207 bottles, adorned with a marvellous fish label design by Scottish-based artist KMG.
Zesty, sweet notes of lemon and ginger tea, floral vanilla, and oily oak.
Nutty barley and waxy lemon rind lead to sweeter notes of crunchy apple and buttery oak char. Grassy notes rest beneath, cushioned by zingy lime drops.
Plenty of fruitiness remains, with sprinkles of vanilla and walnut, while herbal oak lingers in the distance.
