    Single Malt

    Glen Grant 24 Year Old 1998 (cask 6454) - Monologue (Chapter 7)

A superb addition to indie bottler Chapter 7's Monologue series – this single malt was distilled at Glen Grant in 1998 and matured for 24 years in a single bourbon hogshead. In January 2022, the cask was opened, releasing a total outturn of 254 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Wood oil and rich fruit cake, earthen vanilla with sweet peanut brittle.

    Palate

Robust barley brings a nutty, biscuity character with crisp apples and a touch of berry sweetness.

    Finish

Mocha creeps on the finish, with some allspice and grassy oak resting beneath sweeter dried fruits, orange zest and butterscotch.
