Released by independent Danish bottler Fadandel, this Glen Grant single malt spent 22 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel. Distilled in July 1995, the whisky was bottled up in February 2018, with a total of 198 bottles released at 51.9% ABV.
Lemon shortbread with a whiff of vanilla, soft prunes, and spiced pear.
Buttery oak with spicy hints of clove, oily citrus, sticky toffee, and creamy oatmeal, countered by a crackle of black pepper.
Still zesty with syrupy cooked fruit and burnt sugar, a hint of herbal oak, and warming spice.
