A single cask bottling of Delicious Glen grant single malt, presented as part of the Rare Select range by Montgomerie's. This was distilled back in September 1990 and left to mature in a bourbon cask until September 2017, when they bottled it up at 46% ABV.
Fig, shortbread and sponge cake drizzled with honey. A slight whiff of spicy clove and pink peppercorn.
Oak-y tannins, red berry sweetness and a generous helping rum-raisin ice cream.
Waxy orange peel, a hint of menthol and some runny caramel sauce.
