Spicy, complex Glen Grant finished in smaller, octave-sized casks from Duncan Taylor's wonderful Octave range. This was distilled in 1995 and aged for 17 years before bottling as a single cask.
Spiced, creamy nose with juicy barley malt, pepper, stem ginger in syrup, maple spices and lemon juice.
Malt-driven, thick, fruity palate, based on creamy barley, with a big whack of stewed fruits and honey.
Gingerbread leads the finish…
