There's just something about Glen Grant whisky bottled by Gordon & MacPhail, isn't there? This is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Speyside distillery, it was aged in a single first-fill sherry hogshead for 16 years, and then it was bottled at 57.1% ABV for the Connoisseurs Choice range. You just know this is going to be good.
Christmas cake, cooked apples, and stewed berries with damp oak and zesty orange.
Marmalade, dark chocolate, blackcurrant compote, and ginger.
Long and deliciously spiced.
