12 year old single malt from the Glen Grant distillery, aged in a single bourbon hogshead which was filled in 2004. This was independently bottled by the folks at Bartles Whisky for their Highland Laird range. Only 46 bottles were produced.
Buttered toast and honey'd cereals - sounds very breakfast-y. A touch of orchard fruit too.
Vanilla-forward. Cacao and citrus, with a little hint of cashew.
Caramel and a light hint of cigar box.
