This independently bottled Glen Garioch single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in June 2012 and aged in a single cask for 5 years before being bottled by Scotland Grindlay in May 2018. It was bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration with an outturn of 236 bottles.
Floral and sweet, the nose has plenty of white grape, ripe pear and chamomile, with a touch of oily malt.
Fragrant honeyed orchard fruit, white chocolate and cedar wood emerge initially, before helpings of ground nutmeg and white pepper spice develop.
Malty vanilla lingers in a medium-length finish.
