Distilled in 1991, before the closing of the floor maltings in 1994, this is a lightly peated single malt from Glen Garioch, one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland. Bottled in 2010, expect delicious butterscotch and heather smoke.
It's smooth and melow, and overall taste is great, I love it. Wonderful.
Very enjoyable dram at cask strength and the price just tops it over the edge.
A superb well balanced whisky with gorgeous butterscotch flavours counter balanced by the tangy spice.
I stumbled across this gem in a Perthshire hotel bar. What a cracker! Just enough smoke and peat for me. Delicious!
