This splendid single malt from Glen Garioch joins the Darkness range of independent bottlings, meaning you can expect an abundance of glorious sherry notes here! Matured for 18 years, the whisky was treated to a finish in Oloroso sherry casks, and it's brimming with aromatic spice and dark forest fruit character. A delicious dram to savour after dinner.
Chocolate hazelnuts, sweet prunes, and fragrant tobacco open the way for juicy raisins and bold, spicy barley.
A warming core of richly roasted malt leads to woody spice and dark forest fruits. Plums and cherries build, with hints of dates and clove in the distance.
